The Alean Duo was created in 2018 due to the affinity of the two performers in the artistic field. The ensemble quickly achieved success and was awarded at the Orpheus Competition 2019, which gave them the opportunity to play a concert at the Swiss Chamber Music Festival in Adelboden.
(The festival was awarded with the EFFE 2019/2020 label)
In 2020 Alean Duo recorded the complete cello sonatas by Carl Reinecke that will be released next year under Brilliant Classics label.
In addition to the classic-romantic repertoire with its masterpieces, the Alean Duo is passionately looking for pieces that have a striking or hidden reference to the folklore of a country.
